In recent years, Sven has supervised students at various educational institutions in the Netherlands in conducting research and writing a research proposal and thesis. Thus, Sven is familiar with several business courses, (e)marketing, tourism, creative business, MBA, communications and more. He was also developer of several graduate programs and taught research skills. Until recently when he moved to Sweden and with a different private work balance he does his work online from Sweden. Sven provides online thesis supervision because of this reason.
Sven received his master’s degree in Leisure Studies from Tilburg University and then worked as a researcher for the Mulier Institute and the Planbureau Zeeland, before entering education. In addition to his position as thesis supervisor (for college and university students from different programs), he has an appointment as a lecturer at Carinthia University in Austria where he teaches (online) the module Artificial Intelligence and supervises some Master students with their thesis research. Incidentally, Sven also supervises college and MBA students on behalf of the LOI.
