Mirjam is owner and founder of Topscriptie B.V. (since 2011), she is a cum laude graduate psychologist (MSc.) and also graduated as a strategic business marketer. Mirjam has successfully guided more than 636 college and university students in writing their thesis/dissertation and has reviewed theses through the thesis office of several agencies. She also advises companies and students on the proper use of their career/training budget, for example through the Rabobank and via study coaching.

Also, I recently started offering the possibility of giving a second opinion. Based on my years of experience, I am able to generate an objective report on the quality of the thesis. Schools and students can hire me for this, where I give my independent opinion/assessment of the thesis. For this I use the thesis criteria from the school, but I have also compiled my own list.
Experience
Among other things, Mirjam trained as a strategic business management consultant and then further specialized herself as a psychologist. During her bachelor and master psychology she followed, among other things, problem-based education, which ties in with active learning. Mirjam especially coaches students who experience many problems, often caused by a combination of a psychological cause (fear of failure etc.) as well as insufficient academic skills. As a thesis supervisor, she enjoys combining her qualities and translating them into writing a Top Thesis!
I experience three common sighs from thesis writers when creating their thesis. Therefore, for achieving a top quality thesis, I guide the student on three tracks:
1. “I have no idea what topic to choose; what scope do I want to talk about……”
Guidance on content: choosing the question or problem statement and the research questions.
In other words; what is it about and what purpose do you have with your thesis.
2. “Where to start; I no longer have an overview of all the sources, topics and texts……..”
Guidance on the structure, construction of the thesis. What will be the main structure of the thesis, and what questions will be addressed sequentially. So in what order will we proceed and what will be the planning.
3. “I’ll never manage this; looking up to it, no experience with theses….. ”
Sometimes creating the thesis falters on the student’s self-confidence and motivation.
My guidance then focuses on motivation and personal encouragement.
