Damien completed a Master of Public Administration and Master of Healthcare Management at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. After graduation, he worked as a researcher and lecturer at the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM). He now works as a researcher at the Erasmus Medical Center where he researches policy making, process evaluations, cost-benefit analyses and ethics within the healthcare sector. Besides his research, Damien also enjoys supervising several students with their internships and theses.
Damien can help students come up with a good research question, designing a feasible research design, setting up the research methods (qualitative, quantitative, case study, mixed methods), analyzing retrieved data (e.g., in SPSS) and the structured reporting of research findings. He can provide assistance with theses in areas such as social sciences (public administration, policy evaluation, policy analysis, political science, sociology, etc.), organizational sciences (management, business administration, human resources, communication, innovation and technology, etc.) and health sciences (nursing, midwifery, SPH, physical therapy, medicine, psychology, public health, etc.). In addition, Damien can help students with various (mental) problems and fear of failure/ perfectionism or dyslexia help students to get ahead with their thesis. He tutors both wo and hbo students on location in Rotterdam and/or online.
